A charming and spacious villa located in the Umbrian-Tuscany region, Villa Collombroso is a private retreat surrounded by chestnut tree forests and wheat fields. This magnificent villa dates back 400 years and has been beautifully restored into a wonderful holiday home. Complete with salt water pool, gazebo, al fresco dining, flower gardens, vegetable gardens , fruit trees and more. Owner and Chef, Taira, along with Gina your concierge invite you to your personalized "authentic Italian experience".
OUR PROPERTY
What was once a traditional Umbrian farmhouse is now a stunning, luxurious villa offering both small and large groups the perfect Italian escape.Villa Collombroso blends the traditional style of the area with modern, cutting-edge touches to ensure guests have a most enjoyable stay.
The charming old building is surrounded by verdant greenery and peaceful gardens. Inside, the gorgeous beamed ceilings, stylish tiled floors and exposed stone walls give the whole place an earthy, rural feel that you can’t help but love.

AMENITIES
Accommodations
The Villa can comfortably accomodate 12 guests. There are 5 suites each with its own private bath. Each suite provides wonderful views of the property and some have direct access to the gardens.The property is fully equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Wifi is available along with housekeeping services.
Garden
The gardens at Collombroso are native to the area and are intended to grow in their natural state. The property is surrounded by chestnut trees, pomegranates, olives, plums and our own private wheat fields. Strolling our property you will find lavander, roses, hydrandga, and lillies. In our organic farm you will find an arrary of fresh vegetables and herbs.
Pool
The private salt waterpool area provides a great space to enjoy some fun in the sun. There is plenty of room for sunbathing, activities and of course swimming. Poolside you will find the gazebo where you can enjoy a snack, play a family game or just curl up with a book and take a nap. This is just one of the many outdoor spaces to enjoy at Villa Collombroso.

Cooking Class
Enjoy an evening of Farm to Table dining with Chef Taira. You and your guests will immerse yourself in creating simple and authentic Italian dishes using only the freshest local ingredients prepared in the traditional way. Enjoy local wines as you and your guests sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor while dining Al Fresco.

Let's face it....no trip to Italy would be complete without a visit to wine country. Let our concierge arrange a driver who will pick your party up from the villa for a private day trip to several wineries including lunch . This is a "must do" and we recommend doing so at the beginning of your stay...hint hint.

Cultural Tour
During your stay at Villa Collombroso you can enjoy the Ancient Etruscan Village of Orvieto. It is here where it is believed that the rock on which it stands is one of the great masses of tufa rock thrown from the large crater that is now Bolsena lake.
